Nepal here I come!

I’m super excited to visit Nepal. It will be my first time travelling solo outside of India and my first long distance trek!

When am I going?

I arrive in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, on the 19th of September. I’ll be staying in Nepal for exactly 30 days but now that I’ve researched Nepal properly I wish I could’ve stayed for two months!

What am I doing?

I’m planning to go sightseeing around Kathmandu for 3 nights or so which should be plenty of time.

After that I’m heading to the city of Pokhara where I’ll begin my excursion, the Annapurna circuit trek. A trek that goes through various climates reaching a massive height of 5416m that is Thorung La pass.

The trek can take between 12-20 nights depending on how many side treks you do or if you choose to finish the trek early.

After the trek I’m going to chill in Pokhara for sometime to relax before heading back to Kathmandu to return home via Mumbai.

Why Nepal?

I like mountains. They make me feel fresh and alive. And Nepal is home to 8 of the top 10 highest mountains in the world!

How can you follow me?

I’ll probably post daily on Instagram so follow me @sanjayppatel.

I think I’ll try both blogging and vlogging. But I’ll upload the vlogs retrospectively whereas hopefully I can upload the blog on the day or the day after.
